Christie

Director

Christie lives and breathes all things CareAbility! Her favourite thing has been able to work alongside many of the participants we currently support for 10+ years, seeing them move from being children into adults that now tower over her in height! She likes to sneak off on weekends away with her husband and 3 kids whenever she can, exploring new places and visiting some old favourites in the caravan.

Lliana

Support Worker 

Lliana aids CareAbility in all things social media alongside her role as a Support Worker! After 4 years with us, Lliana finds it very fulfilling to watch her participants grow into thriving Young Adults and support them during times of transition as best she can. Lliana loves to travel whenever she can, & will always be at the MCG watching the Tigers play!

Emily

Support Worker

Emily has jumped right into being a model Support Worker. She loves many aspects of the role and enjoys creating unique bonds with her participants. Area’s of support in which she thrives is behaviour management, social support and mental health. Emily has a great interest in media and photography and will soon be studying at Collarts in Screen and Media!

Ingrid

Support Worker

Ingrid supports out of our wonderful Respite accommodation where her knowledge of home skills and cooking is well taken on by her participants. She’s recently become fond of travel training and finds it incredibly rewarding seeing her participants reach their full potential. If we can’t find Ingrid, we know to look for her snorkelling somewhere on the Mornington Peninsula!

Scarlett

Support Worker

Scarlett has been a great asset to the CareAbility family for over 2 years now! In her time as a Support Worker she has found her passion in behaviour management, manual handling and skill building! Outside of CareAbility she is studying Health Sciences and loves spending time with her friends!

Beth

Support Worker

Beth, our primary school teacher-to-be, thrives in CareAbility’s ‘social support’ settings and finds great joy in seeing her participants bond with one another. After a year of being a Support Worker, her favourite area of support is Skill Building, and she loves seeing her participants achieve their goals!

Ash

Office Assistant

Ash is always happy to put on her Support Worker hat whenever she gets the chance, and within that role she loves watching our participants grow alongside their goals. Within her office role, Ash enjoys working with families so CareAbility can provide support that best works for them! Outside of CareAbilty Ash has a newfound love for making the perfect batch of sourdough! We can confirm it is amazing!

JJ

CareAbility’s first employee! The brilliant JJ is well-versed in all areas of support but has a keen focus on skill building, social support and mental health. She loves seeing her participants enjoy their lives and grow into active members of society. JJ is a lover of the outdoors and tries to go camping as much as she can!

Chelsea

Support Worker

Chelsea finds joy in assisting her participants week in and week out to reach or work closer towards their goals! She loves seeing her participants socialise with their peers in social settings and form close bonds with one another. Amongst her love of being a Support Worker, Chelsea also loves to hit up a Pilates class!

Danny

Support Worker

Danny is a mad Hawthorn fan who is proudly in his 3rd year working at CareAbility. With an exciting future ahead, Danny is studying his Certificate 4 in Disability, and he loves assisting his participants in their daily living needs, and always making sure they’re having a blast in the community!

Allison

Support Worker

Seeking a career change after 15+ years in the marketing industry, Allison has recently completed her Cert 4 in Disability and is absolutely shining. With real life experience supporting someone with a disability, Allison is all about ensuring our participants are fulfilled and always learning something new!

Jessy

Support Worker

Our cricket fanatic on and off the pitch, Jessy has been part of the CareAbility team for over 5 years! During his time with us he has seen his participants grow into wonderful members of the community. As a Support Worker he loves exploring new opportunities to further the goals and interests of participants.

Ashlee

Office Administrator

The lovey Ash is well across all things CareAbility, after being a member of the team for over 5 years! Starting as a Support Worker and supporting whenever she can, Ash thrives in anything capacity building that follows a strength-based approach to support. In her spare time, Ash loves venturing off on an exciting day trip somewhere new!

Deb

Deb is as enthusiastic and passionate about being a Support Worker as one can get! She passes on her lively nature to everyone around her and loves working with a variety of participants at CareAbility. She thrives in aiding participants in skill building and behaviour management, and in her spare time she loves going camping and connecting with nature!

Hanna

Support Worker

Our wonderful Hanna is a recently graduated Occupational Therapist and one of CareAbility’s longest serving Support Workers. Hanna loves having the opportunity to empower individuals to achieve their goals and live their best lives. Hanna spends her spare time cooking up delicious meals for her family and spending time with her gorgeous son.

Karly

Support Worker

Meet our Super Support Worker, Karly! With a history in the Disability Industry, CareAbility opened its doors very wide to Karly. Karly is passionate about communication support and ensuring every participant has a voice. When she gets the chance, she’s doing everything she can to keep her indoor plants alive!

Monika

Monika has had an established career in the field of Disability and has much to offer to her participants at CareAbility. She gets a ‘positive buzz’ when she sees her participants reach a new goal, and particularly loves skill building in the kitchen. Outside of CareAbilty Monika is a wonderful ‘Oma’ to her grandchildren and has an interest in snow sports.

Reganne

Support Worker

Our nurse to be, Reganne, provides a supportive and fun environment for her participants. She loves to keep things bright and bubbly no matter what is happening which is amazing! In her spare time she loves getting amongst supporting the AFL, travelling to experience new cultures, and soaking up the sun outside of Melbournes dreaded winter!

Brooke

Support Worker

In her final year of studying her Master of Psychology, Brooke thrives in supporting participants with mental health needs. She loves watching her participants thrive in an area that was once challenging for them and is always around to support them in any way she can! In her spare time she loves going camping and watching the Formula 1!

Support Worker

Our future paramedic and part-time special education teacher, Bek is a true asset to the CareAbility Community. She has great pride in seeing her participants being active in the wider community and is a superstar with independence building and behaviour management needs.

New to CareAbility but taking everything on in her stride, Amy is passionate about supporting participants with varying supports, and is proud to be someone in their lives that they can rely on in any way best suited to them. Lisa

Lisa joined the CareAbility team over a year ago and loves seeing growth in her participants in their independence and social life. She thrives in providing skill building support and seeing how her participants can progress in their goals. In her spare times she loves to spend time with her family and friends over a nice meal.

Kiara

Our lovely Kiara has entered her role as a Support Worker with her arms wide open. She has a passion for Skill Building with her participants and is always doing her best to grow in her own way as well! Kiara is a keen local footy player and loves to have a kick with her participants when she can!

Liam

Support Worker

Liam is an enthusiastic member of the CareAbility team who is keen to learn all there is about Support Work! Liam loves seeing his participants work on their goals each week, while ensuring they’re having fun and enjoying their time together! Outside of CareAbility Liam is a keen Basketballer and is incredibly talented at dunking!

Charlotte

Support Worker

Our lovely Charlotte joined the team in late 2024 and has been thriving since! As a nursing student, she is already such a caring soul, but watching that shine through the support she gives has been truely special! She loves sharing fun experiences with her participants and being a supportive addition to their lives in any means best!

Ashleigh

Our soon to be Midwife, Ashleigh loves seeing her participants enhance their independence and smash out their goals! Skill building and Travel Training are just some of her favourite areas to work on with participants as a Support Worker. When she's not working and studying, she's at the MCG watching Collingwood play!

Bethany

Bethany, affectionally known as 'Bea', loves being a positive support person in her participants' lives. She has a focus on social support and mental health, and is excited to see what's in store for her at CareAbility!

Emma

Support Worker

Our keen Scuba Diver, Emma, could spend more time underwater if she had the choice! Lucky for us she’s mostly above sea level and thriving as a new Support Worker. She seeks great pleasure in seeing her participants thrive, and particularly enjoys focusing on behaviour management requirements.

Maddy

Support Worker

Maddy is an encouraging Support Worker who loves focusing on her participants skill building goals. As a future Occupational Therapist she also has a great advantage in supporting teams as best she can! Maddy is a keen basketballer and has enjoyed playing and watching the sport her whole life!

Support Worker

After finishing studies in Psychological Science and Criminology, Kate fell into CareAbiltiy's lap and we're never letting her go! She loves watching her participants build their independence and in general, thrive! Kate is a model Support Worker whom we've adored having on the team. We also love seeing updated pics of her golden retriever puppy, Harvey!

What a pleasure to have Zoe on our team! Currently working alongside CareAbility at a school as a student aid, Zoe is a fantasticSupport Worker who is adored by everyone! Zoe is currently studying towards becoming an Occupational Therapist, which we know she'll be amazing at!

Caitlyn

We've welcomed Caitlyn to the team mid 2025 and we are so lucky to have her! Caitlyn has a focus on behaviour management and skill building. She is currently studying to become a nurse and in any spare time she has she loves taking in the great outdoors and going camping!
