In Home & Community Support
Our in-home supports are planned in collaboration with the participant and/or their family to ensure the highest level of support is provided with the greatest chance of successful outcomes. From assisting with aspects of daily living, personal care, behaviour support and transportation, we work with a focus on capacity building and ensure building independence
is always front of mind.
Short Term Accomodation (STA)
CareAbility provides Short Term Accommodation and Respite services to it's participants, based at our property in Carrum Downs. With the intention of enhancing independent living skills, maintaining personal care, supporting behaviour management and other needs, we are proud to provide a calming, supportive and safe environment that our participants can know as a ‘home away from home’.
Holiday Program
Offering programs to both our school-aged and 18+ participants, based around either school holidays or day program breaks, getting out and about in the community is the aim of the game! The program offers the opportunity for participants to access exciting activities with their peers all whilst enhancing their community access skills.
Previous activities have included - swimming, Bounce, movies, parks and playgrounds, Scienceworks, Melbourne Zoo, The Big Goose and The Funky Farm.
Recreation Activities
CareAbility runs specialised Recreation Programs for our participants all year round. These programs have been designed in collaboration with parents, participants and staff, and is one of our most popular services. Some recreation services we are proud to provide are:

Young Adult Day Program
With the intention of personal growth, fostering friendship and enhancing independence in mind, CareAbility are proud to provide ‘Day Programs’ for our Adult participants on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. What to expect from our programs;
